I consider myself very fortunate to live and raise my son in Vancouver, where he enjoys the abundant Asian-influenced restaurants. His favourite foods in the world are fried rice and sushi, and for his 11th birthday, he requested these Chinese Takeout Cupcakes. I’ve had more positive comments about these cupcakes than pretty much anything else I’ve made, and I always give credit for the cupcake design: What’s New, Cupcake, by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson (huge thanks for your creativity and inspiration!).
